August 14, 2020 UPDATE...

Hello all parents and guardians of Park Meadows School,

I just want to take a moment to say thanks to you for filling in the Parent Survey that our Superintendent sent out a few weeks ago. This information will be crucial to our school for an effective Sept. 1 start! To help keep you in the loop, here is a brief update to let you know what we are doing to prepare for September 1^st:

1. Survey Data: We are currently working through all the data that we received and contacting families who may have missed the survey so that we have the most up-to-date information. The survey closed Monday, Aug. 10^th.
2. Staff and student safety: We are contacting teachers and educational staff and informing them of many of our health protocols that we are putting in place as a school. Our staff and student safety is our number 1 priority.
3. Your child’s teacher: During the week of August 24 look for communication from us regarding start-up details for the 2020-2021 school year. Whether you are an “in-school” learner or an “at-home” learner, important information will come your way during this week. In an attempt to help reduce the worry your son or daughter may be facing not only with regards COVID-19 but also just the start-up of a new school year, our hope is to let you know who your son/daughter’s teacher is some time between August 25 and August 28 prior to the first day of school (Tuesday, September 1^st). 
4. Revised School Handbook: we are currently updating our school handbook which will contain a host of valuable information specifically related to COVID-19 and Park Meadows School. All parents will receive a digital copy of the updated School Handbook prior to the first day of school. Please read this in detail before school starts. It will be emailed to you and we will post it on our website under the “Parents” tab.

As always, please know that you can reach out to me anytime and ask any questions you may have. I’ll do my best to answer them. I am excited for the start of a new school year and look forward to returning to working with our amazing students, incredible staff, devoted parents, and committed School Council.
