August 28 UPDATE

August 28, 2020 

Dear Parents & Guardians, 

Today was an incredible day at Park Meadows. We met as teachers and Educational Assistants and continued with our preparations to provide a fantastic start up next week. We can’t wait to see your child at school or online.  

In this email, we would like to provide you with two exciting pieces of information: 

1. “Sneak Peek” video for you: All our teachers came together and made a video for you. We’ve called our video “Sneak Peek: An insider look at Park Meadows School and COVID-19”. A huge thanks to all our staff for helping with the making of this video. In this YouTube video, you will see how we promote social distancing in the halls, how recess will run, how we model mask wearing, washroom guidelines, bus stop, and, most importantly, your child’s meeting spot each morning and afternoon for Drop-off and Pick-up, and much more. 1. A list of our teachers (both in-school and online) and their teaching assignments. Please note that these are the teaching assignments for now but could change in the future. At this point, the School Division has marked a “Pivot Point” where students can switch back to in-school or at-home learning. Your child’s homeroom teacher (in-school or at-home) could change at any of these points (Nov, Jan., Mar.). More information on this as we get close to the first Pivot Point. For now, here is the list of our teachers and their assignments:
